Simulating SOC Dynamics under Different Temperature Regimes and FYM Addition in Bamboo Species Using RothC-Model

چکیده

To assess the impact of bamboo plantations on soil organic carbon (SOC) under prevailing climatic conditions, increase in temperature and amendments, Roth C model was used. RothC is a promising for estimation SOC changes different land use systems. In present study, used to predict dynamics plantation seven species usual scenario: by 1 °C 2 farm yard manure (FYM) addition. The result revealed that fairly predicts SOC. root mean square error (RMSE) value varied from 0.74 3.2 among while comparing modeled measured data. resulted decrease 0.46 5.96 per cent as compared scenario, extent species. Among all species, application 9 t ha−1 FYM found appropriate maintaining initial level during stage growth.

Measuring and Simulating 2,4-D Residues in Silty Clay Soil Profile Under Two Water Regimes Using a LEACHP Model

The extensive use of pesticides in agriculture is compromising soil and water quality. One major concern is protecting water resources from contamination. The main objective of this research was measuring 2,4- D in a silty clay soil and simulating temporal transportation of this herbicide in soil using a LEACHP model, in a corn root zone field. 2,4- D was applied at 3.5 kg a.i./ha, followed by ...

Changes in population occupancy of Bradyrhizobia under different temperature regimes.

To elucidate how temperature affects bradyrhizobial ecology, long-term incubations of Bradyrhizobium japonicum USDA 6(T), 38, and 123 and of Bradyrhizobium elkanii USDA 76(T) were conducted under various temperature conditions. Proliferative traits in liquid culture and population occupancies in soil microcosms were compared. The occupancies of USDA 76(T) and USDA 123 in soil microcosms during ...

The decomposition of estuarine macrophytes under different temperature regimes

The Great Brak Estuary is a temporarily open/closed system situated along the warm temperate coast of the Western Cape, South Africa. The estuary is subject to a variety of anthropogenic impacts (e.g. freshwater abstraction and sewage discharge) that increases its susceptibility to prolonged periods of mouth closure, eutrophication, and ultimately the formation of macroalgal blooms. The aim of ...

Assessment of the AquaCrop Model for simulating Canola under different irrigation managements in a semiarid area

Field experiments were conducted in 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 and the data were used tocalibrate and validate yield and biomass of AquaCrop Model for canola (Brassica napus l.). Themodel was calibrated with the first year and then was validated with the second year data. Fivewater stress treatments at different growth stages were performed including fully irrigatedduring whole growing period (I1)...
